Beginning Knitting Class 03/09

Are you mesmerized by the concept of turning yarn into an item of clothing or a blanket? Are you called to the bright colors and soft textures of yarn, but have no idea what to do with them? In our beginning knitting class, we will demystify the magic of how to use yarn and needles to create endless possibilities. This class will go over the basics of knitting, casting on, purling and binding off, as well as provide discussion about types of yarn and needles. We will create a basic washcloth over the course of the 2 hour class.
