This class was so much fun!! Kelly is a FANTASTIC teacher. I’ve been teaching myself to knit over the past month with YouTube videos and books, and after just ten minutes with Kelly I had already improved my technique and learned how to fix my mistakes for a stronger and prettier creation. Everyone at the shop is really dedicated to helping you improve your technique, not belittling you or making you feel bad for not knowing how to knit or knitting incorrectly. As Kelly said in our class, don’t think of it as messing up – you’re probably just knitting a new type of stitch you don’t know yet. I will definitely be coming to Fiber Nights and Fiber Days and am so excited I gave this class a shot.
